This Privacy Policy explains how DateAssist collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service.

Information You Provide

• Text you enter into the App (for example, chat context and messages) to generate openers, replies, and analysis.
• Images you upload (including screenshots) to generate analysis (if you choose to upload them).

How We Use Information

• To provide AI features and generate responses.
• To power in-app recommendations and suggestions.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
• To enforce limits and prevent abuse.

Sharing

To provide AI features, we transmit your submitted text and images to DateAssist servers and to third-party AI providers for processing. We currently use OpenRouter.ai as an API gateway, and we currently use Google (Gemini) models via OpenRouter.ai. These third parties process the content only to deliver the requested AI output. We only share data with third parties that, in our judgment, provide the same or equal protection for personal data.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Your Choices

You can choose not to use AI features. If you withdraw consent, the App may restrict AI functionality.

Deletion

You can delete your account in the App: Settings -> Privacy & Data -> Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and associated server-side data.
